A shamisen player of Gidayu-bushi. (1) First (?-1815 (Bunka 12)). Real name Tanbaya Kichibei. A disciple of the second Nozawa Kihachiro. Changed his name from Yoshiya and Yoshigoro to Kichibei. In 1806, when the name Hyoe was banned, he temporarily called himself Yoshihira. (2) Third (1821-62 (Bunsei 4-Bunkyu 2)). Real name Sataya Ichijiro. A disciple of Tsuruzawa Bunzo, his father was the first Takemoto Koshijidayu. He succeeded Ichijiro and the second Takemoto Katsuho as the third in 1844 (Koka 1). He played the fifth Takemoto Somedayu (the first Takemoto Tsudayu, later Echizen Daijo) and the fifth Takemoto Shundayu, and was called the founder of the Nozawa revival. 義太夫節の三味線演奏者。(1)初世(?‐1815(文化12)) 本名丹波屋吉兵衛。2世野沢喜八郎門人。吉弥,吉五郎から吉兵衛となる。1806年兵衛名禁止に伴い,一時,吉平と名乗る。(2)3世(1821‐62∥文政4‐文久2) 本名佐田屋市治郎。鶴沢文三門人で,父は初世竹本越路太夫。市治郎,2世勝鳳から,1844年(弘化1)3世をつぐ。5世竹本染太夫(初世竹本津太夫,のち越前大掾),5世竹本春太夫らを弾き,野沢中興の祖とよばれた。
