Ningxia Rebellion (English: Ning-xia; Ning-hsia)

The rebellion of Anhua King Zhu Shihuan occurred in Ningxia during the mid-Ming Dynasty in China. Shihuan was the great-grandson of the 16th son of Emperor Hongwu, King Qingjing, and succeeded to the title of king in 1492. At that time, the eunuch Liu Jin was surveying the Ningxia military fields and trying to collect excessive taxes. Shihuan resented this and, instigated by Sun Jingwen and others, started a rebellion in 1510, claiming to eliminate traitors around the emperor, but was put down by a clever plan by Ningxia assistant general Qiu Yue and others.

中国，明代中期寧夏に起った安化王朱し鐇 (しはん) の反乱。し鐇は洪武帝の第 16子慶靖王の曾孫で，弘治5 (1492) 年王爵を継いだ。当時，宦官劉瑾は寧夏の屯田を測量し，租税を過重に取立てようとした。し鐇はそれを恨み，孫景文らにそそのかされ，君側の奸を除くためと称して正徳5 (1510) 年反乱を起したが，寧夏参将仇鉞 (きゅうえつ) らの奇計により鎮定された。
