When measuring high voltage, it is necessary to divide it into appropriate ratios and input it into a measuring instrument, and the device used for this purpose is called a voltage divider. The most common method is to divide the voltage using a high-resistance voltage divider, but for AC, many devices also include a reactor and a capacitor in addition to resistors.
