The name of the protagonist in the Travels of Ibrahim Beg (1909), the first Persian novel based on European style, written by Ḥājj Zeyn al‐'Abedin (1837‐1910), an Iranian merchant living in Istanbul, Turkey. The author set the protagonist as the son of a Tabriz merchant living in Egypt, and while setting up a plot in which he returns to his native Iran and travels around the country, he criticizes the outdated autocratic system of the Qajar dynasty and encourages constitutionalism and patriotism.

トルコのイスタンブール在住のイラン商人ハーッジュ･ゼイノル･アーベディーンḤājj Zeyn al‐‘Abedīn(1837‐1910)が著したヨーロッパ的な技法にもとづく最初のペルシア語小説《イブラーヒーム･ベクの旅行記》(1909)の主人公の名。著者は主人公をエジプト在住のタブリーズ商人の子と設定し，彼を故国イランに帰らせ国内を旅させるという筋書を立てながら，カージャール朝の旧弊な専制体制を批判し，立憲制と愛国心とを鼓舞した。
