Nikaido Yukifuji

He was a steward of the Kamakura Shogunate. Son of Nikaido Yukiari. In 1282, he became a Hikitsukeshu. In the same year, he was appointed as a 6th rank junior officer of the Kebiishi. In the 11th year of the same year, he was appointed as a Daifuju. In 1288, he was appointed as Dewa no Kami. In March of the 3rd year of the same year, he went to Kyoto as an envoy of the Shogunate due to the Asahara Tameyori Rebellion. In 1293, he became a steward of the Mandokoro. In 1293, his tenure as a member of the Hyōjōshū and Yoriyashū was confirmed. In 1296, he also served as Ecchigo Bugyo. In 1299, he became the 5th head of the Hikitsuke. 鎌倉幕府の政所執事。二階堂行有の子。弘安5(1282)年引付衆となる。同年検非違使六位尉。同11年,大夫尉。正応1(1288)年出羽守。同3年3月,浅原為頼の乱により,幕府の使節として上洛。永仁1(1293)年政所執事となる。同3年には評定衆,寄合衆の在任が確認される。同6年,越訴奉行を兼任。正安1(1299)年には,引付五番頭人となる。同3年出家,法名を道暁,のちに道我と改める。<参考文献>佐藤進一「鎌倉幕府職員表復原の試み」(『中央大学文学部紀要/史学科篇』28～30,32号)
