〘Noun〙 A game introduced from China. This game originated from a story in the "Han Wu Story" in which Lady Kouyou, the favorite concubine of Emperor Wu of Han, had clenched hands since birth, but Emperor Wu opened them to obtain a jade hook. The game involves splitting into two groups, with one person hiding a hook and everyone holding out their clenched fists, and the other group guessing which fist is hiding the hook. ※Montoku Jitsuroku - 853, 3rd year of the Ninshu era (February 1st, Otoushi) "The Emperor watches over _{the two} Treasure Hook Games, _and the two are divided into two groups. 〘名〙中国から伝来した遊戯の一つ。漢の武帝の寵妃の鉤弋(こうよく)夫人は、生まれてから手が握られたままであったが、武帝がこれを開かせて玉鉤を得たという「漢武故事」に見える故事から出たあそびで、二組に分かれ、一方の側の一人が鉤をかくして全員が握りこぶしを出し、鉤をかくしたこぶしを、他方の側の者が言い当てるもの。※文徳実録‐仁寿三年（853）二月乙丑「帝覧_二蔵鉤戯_一、左右相分、飛鳥遊附者不_レ禁」※随筆・撈海一得（1771）下「蔵鈎(ゾウコウ)又蔵とも云。酒飲賭にする戯なり」
