One of the sections of Gidayu-bushi. Usually written as "Fushi". It is used for solemn sentences that emphasize emotion, and has a heavy melody second only to O-otoshi. It is mainly used in historical pieces. The oroshi in the daijo (the beginning of the entire act) is specifically called o-oroshi, which is long and relaxed, and is written as "oroshi" only in this case. There is a melody called oroshikakari that is very similar to oroshi, but it is not as heavy as oroshi.
