Japanese: 雷神不動北山桜 - なるかみふどうきたやまざくら

Kabuki kyogen. Historical piece. Five acts. Collaboration between Tsuuchi Hanjuro, Yasuda Kaerubun, and Nakata Mansuke. First performed in January 1742 (Kanpo 2) at the Sadoshima Chogoro-za (Onishi) in Osaka. The cast included Ichikawa Ebizo II (previously Danjuro II) as Kumedera Danjo, Narukami Shonin, and Acala, Sadoshima Chogoro as Hata Tamibu and Hakuunbo, Onoe Kikugoro I as Kumo no Zemahime, Shibasaki Taminosuke as Fumiya Toyohide, Nakamura Akashi as Nishiki no Mae, and Nakamura Jiroza as Prince Soun. Set against the backdrop of Prince Soun's plot to take advantage of the chaos caused by a national drought, the play depicts the resentment of Narukami Shonin against the Imperial Court and the family feud of the Ono Harumichi family.

歌舞伎狂言。時代物。5段。津打半十郎，安田蛙文，中田万助合作。1742年(寛保2)正月大坂佐渡嶋長五郎座(大西)初演。配役は粂寺弾正･鳴神上人･不動明王を2世市川海老蔵(前の2世団十郎)，秦民部･白雲坊を佐渡嶋長五郎，雲の絶間姫を初世尾上菊五郎，文屋豊秀を柴崎民之助，錦の前を中村明石，早雲王子を中村次郎三など。天下旱魃の混乱を利用して謀叛を企てる早雲王子の陰謀を背景に，鳴神上人の朝廷への怨恨，小野春道家のお家騒動などを描く。
