Angular frequency

It is the same as angular velocity. If the angular velocity in rotational motion is ω, the period is T, and the frequency is ν, then the relationship is ω＝2π/T＝2πν, and so it is called angular frequency. It is 2π times the usual frequency ν.

角速度と同じ。回転運動における角速度をω、周期をT、その振動数をνとするとω＝2π/T＝2πνの関係があるところから角振動数という。通常の意味での振動数νの2π倍である。
