A Kabuki dramatization technique in which two or more different "worlds" are intertwined to create one Kyogen. Edo Kabuki was a one-act performance format in which one day's Kyogen was performed under one main theme. As a result, a structure was formed in which the first was the era and the second was the sewa, linking the two with a single story, and a mixed era sewa structure was formed. It can be said that this structure developed the interweaving. Kabuki Kyogen was performed within a fixed type of "world," to which "shiko" was added.
