An important meeting of the Dutch Church, also known as the Synod of Dort. Several synods were held in the large church in Dordrecht, but the most famous was the one held from November 1618 to May 1619. It refuted and settled the Declaration of 1610 issued by the Arminians in opposition to predestination. Theologians of Reformed churches from outside the Netherlands also attended. The chairman was Jan Bogerman of Leeuwarden, a strict Calvinist.

オランダ教会の重要な会議。ドルト会議ともいう。幾つかの教会会議がドルトレヒト市の大教会を議場として行われたが，もっとも有名なのは1618年11月から19年5月まで開かれたそれである。預定論に反対してアルミニウス派が1610年に発表した宣言を論駁（ろんばく）し決着をつけた。オランダ以外からも改革派教会の神学者が参集した。議長は厳格なカルビニズムに立つレーワルデンのボーヘルマンJan Bogerman。
