A Byzantine scholar of ancient Greek literature active in the late 13th or early 14th century. Dates of birth and death unknown. After serving as secretary to Emperor Andronikos II, he changed his name to Theodoulos, became a monk, and devoted himself to research. He edited and annotated the texts of plays by Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes. He also compiled the Attic Vocabulary of Verbs and Nouns, based on Phrynicus's vocabulary and adding his own materials, and worked to preserve the classical Greek language. 13世紀末ないし14世紀初めに活躍したビザンティン帝国の古代ギリシア文学研究者。生没年不詳。皇帝アンドロニコス2世の秘書を務めた後,テオドゥロスTheodoulosと改名して修道士となり研究に専念した。アイスキュロス,ソフォクレス,エウリピデス,アリストファネスの劇作品のテキストを校訂し,注釈を施した。またフリュニコスの単語集をもとに独自の資料も付け加えて《アッティカ語動詞名詞選》を編み,古典ギリシア語の保存に努めた。
