Ishiguro-so

Japanese:
Ishiguro-so
A manor in Tonami County, Etchu Province. It was located in the upper reaches of the Oyabe River, covering Fukumitsu Town, Johana Town, Iguchi Village, and Fukuno Town in Toyama Prefecture (all four towns and villages are now part of Nanto City). It was established in 1078 as the land of Enshu Temple in Yamashiro. At the end of the Heian period, it consisted of 10 districts, and was called Ishiguro Sankasho because it was divided into three areas. The lord's position was divided and inherited, and examples include Henchi-in Temple in Daigo-ji Temple in Yamashiro, Bodai-in Temple in Ninna-ji Temple, and the Takatsukasa family, but many aspects such as the inheritance relationship are unclear. Of the 10 districts, the Fujiwara clan, who were the lower ranks of Hirose District in Bodai-in District, became vassals of the Kamakura shogunate, and fought for a long time with the lord's side over the land steward position and control of the district. In addition, there were two markets in Hirose-go, Takamiya and Tenma, on both banks of the Oyabe River.
