Nishisonogi County, Nagasaki Prefecture, Nishisonogi Town occupies the eastern base of the Nishisonogi Peninsula. Facing Omura Bay, it was once an important transportation hub at the entrance to Nagasaki. Grapes, loquats, and mandarin oranges are cultivated here.
