Togitsu [town] - Togitsu
Nishisonogi County, Nagasaki Prefecture, Nishisonogi Town occupies the eastern base of the Nishisonogi Peninsula. Facing Omura Bay, it was once an important transportation hub at the entrance to Nagasaki. Grapes, loquats, and mandarin oranges are cultivated here. In recent years, much of the farmland has been converted into factories and housing, and the number of commuters to Nagasaki City has also increased. Area: 20.94 km2 . Population: 30,110 (2010).
