An annual diary of Toji Hachiman Shrine from 1350 (Shohei 5/Kan'o 1) to 1575 (Tensho 3). Eight volumes. Owned by Kokoro Shimizu Hachiman Shrine, Aizubange Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Important Cultural Property. Measures 397 shaku in length. It is pasted together and records the number of volumes of the Great Perfection of Wisdom Sutra and other texts that are recited before the altar at Hachiman Shrine at the beginning of the year, as well as memoranda of duties. The back of the book contains articles about Hachiman Shrine from around 1355 (Shohei 10/Bunwa 4) to 1635 (Kan'ei 12), as well as events in Aizu and various provinces, making it a valuable resource for medieval politics, society, and disasters in Aizu and Oshu. 1350年(正平5∥観応1)から1575年(天正3)にわたる塔寺八幡宮の年日記。8巻。福島県会津坂下町心清水(こころしみず)八幡神社蔵。重要文化財。全長397尺に及ぶ。年初八幡宮の神前に読誦する大般若経などの巻数,所役の覚えを記し,はり継いだもの。紙背には1355年(正平10∥文和4)ころから1635年(寛永12)までの八幡宮に関する記事をはじめ,会津および諸国のできごとを記しており,会津,奥羽の中世の政治社会および災異に関する貴重な資料。
