This is the fourth collection of poems by Kambara Ariake. It was published by Eifusha in January 1908 (Meiji 41). It contains 48 original poems and four translated poems, including the eight sonnets in "Leopard's Blood." Among them, "The Partner of Wisdom Looks at Me," "The White Moon," and "Jasmine Flower" from "Leopard's Blood" are masterpieces that sing of a highly symbolic emotional world in which various senses intertwine and correspond with each other, and there are also masterpieces of musical yet contemplative poetry based on Buddhism, such as "The Heart of Autumn" and "The Fragrance of Destruction." This is Ariake's representative collection of poems, and one of the greatest achievements of modern Japanese poetry.
