Tong-zhong-shu men-xia ping-zhang-shi; T`ung-chung-shu men-hsia p`ing-chang-shih
The government system of the Tang, Five Dynasties, and Song dynasties in China. At the beginning of the Tang dynasty, the heads of the three ministries, Menxia, Zhongshu, and Shangshu, were designated as Prime Ministers, but later, in addition to the Shizhong and Zhongshuling, other officials were added with titles such as Tongzhongshumen Xiaping Zhangji and Tongzhongshumen Lower Third Rank to become Prime Ministers. However, most of the names added to other officials later became Tongzhongshumen Xiaping Zhangji, so that name was used as the title of Prime Minister, and this continued through the Five Dynasties and into the Song dynasty. In the Song dynasty, Tongping Zhangji, or Tongzhongshumen Xiaping Zhangji, was assigned to three teachers of ranks above Hei-ro, and assisted the emperor in governing the country. There was no limit to the number of positions, and sometimes there were three. The deputy was called the Changji Zhengji.
