Obibabayasude - Obibabayasude

...A subspecies of the millipede of the family Polypedidae, order Polypedidae, class Diplopoda (illustration). It is named after the fact that it appears on the railroad tracks and disrupts train operations once every few years in the mountainous areas of the Chubu region of Honshu.
