Registration record - Toukaki (English spelling)

Japanese: 登科記 - とうかき（英語表記）dēng kē jì

A record of those who passed the Chinese imperial examinations, especially the Jinshi examination, compiled by year. It seems to have started in the early Tang Dynasty, and there are also surviving works such as the "Five Dynasties Dengke Ji" written by Han Si from the Song Dynasty, but the most representative is the 30-volume "Dengke Ji Kao" written by Xu Song from the Qing Dynasty, which contains as much information as possible about all documents related to the imperial examinations held in the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties that followed, including the number and names of those who passed each year, the exam questions and their answers. 中国で科挙とくに進士科の試験に合格した者を年次ごとに編纂した記録。唐初から始まったらしく，宋の韓思撰《五代登科記》等も残されているが，最も代表的なのは清の徐松撰《登科記考》30巻であって，唐朝とそれにつづく五代の諸王朝で実施された科挙についてのあらゆる文献，つまり各年度ごとの合格者の人数と姓名，試験問題と合格者の答案などを可能なかぎり網羅している。【礪波護】
