Radio wave fee - denparyou

Japanese:
Radio wave fee - denparyou

The fee that commercial broadcasters receive from advertisers in exchange for broadcasting commercials. In the narrow sense, it refers only to the broadcasting fee (time fee) charged to advertisers who sponsor programs, but in the broad sense, it also includes the fees for spot commercials, guide ads, and PT (participating commercials) broadcast within programs. Sponsors who provide programs on commercial broadcasters are responsible for both the narrow spectrum fee and the program production costs. For both broad and narrow spectrum fees, the fee is determined for each broadcasting time slot based on the level of audience ratings. The time slots are divided into A, with the highest audience rating being the time slot A, followed by B, C, and D, with all broadcasting times divided into weekdays and holidays. TV usually has A time slot in the evening and radio usually has A time slot in the morning, and this A time slot is the so-called golden hour (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) or prime time (7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.). In addition, the amount of radio wave fees also varies depending on the station's media power, which is determined by the population within its area and the strength of the network to which the station belongs.
