Electroplating - Denchaku

An operation in which charged particles dispersed in a liquid are caused to migrate by an electric field and are deposited on an electrode. It is used to produce films of ceramics and polymer particles. It is often used synonymously with electrodeposition.

液体中に分散した荷電粒子を電界により泳動させて電極上に付着させる操作.セラミックスや高分子粒子などの製膜に用いられる.電解析出と同じ意味で用いられることも多い.
