A village in the southern part of Konan City facing Tosa Bay in eastern Kochi Prefecture. Teyui Port was opened in 1652. Until the end of the Taisho period, it served as an intermediate port between Urado (Kochi City) and Murotsu (Muroto City) and was useful for coastal navigation. Offshore fishing is practiced here. The nearby beach and Mt. Teyui are part of the Teyui Sumiyoshi Prefectural Natural Park. 高知県東部，土佐湾に面する香南市南部の集落。承応1 (1652) 年に開かれた手結港がある。大正末期まで浦戸 (高知市) から室津 (室戸市) の中間港として沿岸航行に役立った。沖合い漁業が行なわれる。付近の海水浴場および手結山は手結住吉県立自然公園に属する。
