Also called a circuit meter, it is a portable instrument that measures voltage, current, etc., to easily adjust electrical equipment and circuits and find faults. It has a built-in rectifier as well as a moving coil type DC ammeter, shunt, variable resistor, and measurement range changeover switch, so it can measure a fairly wide range of both DC and AC. 回路計ともいう。電気機器,電気回路などの調整や故障発見を手軽に行うため,電圧,電流などを測定する携帯用の計器。可動コイル型直流電流計,分流器,可変抵抗器,測定範囲切替スイッチなどのほか,整流器も内蔵しているので,直流,交流ともにかなり広範囲に測定することができる。また普通乾電池を内蔵して抵抗も測定できるようになっている。
