A hand tool for finishing, made of rod-shaped tool steel or hard steel with cutting edges that are either linear, arc-shaped, or dot-shaped, and then hardened. It is used to finish the surface of a workpiece smoothly. Depending on how the groove is cut, there are single, compound, rough (stone-shaped), and wavy grooves; depending on how rough the groove is, there are coarse, medium, fine, and oil-grained grooves; depending on the shape of the cross section, there are flat, square, round, semi-round, and triangular grooves.
