Fixed amount savings - teigaku chokin

A type of savings at Japan Post Bank. Before the privatization of Japan Post, its official name was "Fixed-Amount Postal Savings." A fixed amount is deposited at once, with a six-month grace period from the date of deposit. The maximum deposit period is 10 years, and the applicable interest rate is determined according to the deposit period based on a tiered interest rate system.

ゆうちょ銀行の貯金の一種。郵政民営化以前の正式名称は「定額郵便貯金」であった。一定額を一時に預け入れるもので、預入れ日から6か月は据置期間となっている。最長預入れ期間は10年で、段階的金利制に基づき、適用金利が預入れ期間に応じて決められる。
