東シベリア，沿海州，中国東北部に話される諸言語。Tungus。金代の女真語，清代の満州語も同系の言語で，満州語に由来するシボ（錫伯）語は新疆ウイグル自治区に数万の話し手が現存する。これら以外のツングース諸語には文献はなく，1930年代の初めから，エベンキ語，エベン語，ナナイ語，ウデヘ語などでロシア字正書法による文章語が使用されるようになった。ほかにネギダール語，オロチ語，オルチャ語，ウイルタ語等が知られるが，人口はそれぞれ数百人程度とされる。言語構造は母音調和と膠着(こうちゃく)語的文法構造が特色。→アルタイ諸語／ツングース語系諸族
