A shamisen player of Gidayu-bushi. (1) The first (1748-1826 | Kan'en 1-Bunsei 9) A student of Tsuruzawa Bunzo (the second Tsuruzawa Tomojiro), originally named Tsuruzawa Seijiro. Commonly known as Matsuya. After retiring, he took the name of the third Tsuruzawa Tomojiro. He created the score that is the basis for the shamisen vermilion (playing score) currently in use under the influence of Nobuichi, a disciple of Nozaki Kengyo, in his work Ritsuro Sanjurokusei Roku no Jin, and is revered by shamisen players of later generations. The first examples of vermilion are Gidayu-bushi Gochocho (Gitayu-bushi Gochocho) from 1781 (Tenmei 1) and six other volumes. 義太夫節の三味線演奏者。(1)初世(1748‐1826∥寛延1‐文政9) 鶴沢文蔵(2世鶴沢友次郎)門下で初名鶴沢清二郎。通称松屋。引退後3世鶴沢友次郎を襲名。現在使用されている三味線の朱(奏法譜)のもととなる譜を,野崎検校門弟信都(のぶいち)の《律呂三十六声麓の塵》の影響下に創案し,後世の三味線方から崇拝されている。1781年(天明1)の《儀太夫節合控張》ほか6冊が最初の朱の例である。(2)2世(?‐1840(天保11)) 初世門下で,前名勝治郎。
