It is also called "Tsurugizaki" or "Tsurugisaki". It is a cape at the southeastern tip of the Miura Peninsula in the southeastern part of Kanagawa Prefecture. It belongs to Miura City. It is a raised sea platform about 30 meters above sea level and is surrounded by reefs. It faces the Uraga Strait and serves as a landmark for ships entering and leaving Tokyo Bay, so a second-class lighthouse has been built there. The reefs are a famous spot for rock fishing.
