Tsubetsu [town] - Tsubetsu
A town in Abashiri County, eastern Hokkaido. Occupying a vast mountainous area upstream the Abashiri River, it produces a large amount of timber and also processes timber. It produces wheat, sugar beets, and potatoes. National Route 240 runs through the town. Area: 716.80 km2 . Population: 5,646 (2010).
