A pastoralist people living in Rwanda and Burundi in Africa. They make up 10-20% of the population of both countries. They have been in conflict with the majority ethnic Hutu for many years, and in 1994, the situation escalated to the point where 800,000-1 million Tutsis were massacred by the Hutus. → Rwanda Genocide
