Tsukui [town] - Tsukui
A former town in Tsukui District, northern Kanagawa Prefecture. It occupies the basin of the midstream Sagami River and its tributary, the Doshi River, and its main settlement is Nakano on a terrace. In addition to dairy farming, the textile industry is thriving. It is home to Shiroyama Dam, completed in 1965, and Lake Tsukui, and is also a tourist destination on the Keihin Expressway. In March 2006, it was incorporated into Sagamiko Town, Tsukui District, and Sagamihara City. Area: 122.04 km2 . Population: 30,104 (2003).

神奈川県北部，津久井郡の旧町。相模川中流と支流道志川の流域を占め，主集落は段丘上の中野。酪農を行うほか，繊維産業が盛ん。1965年完成の城山ダムと津久井湖があり，京浜の観光地でもある。2006年３月津久井郡相模湖町と相模原市へ編入。122.04km2。３万104人（2003）。
