A hot spring in Itamuro, Kuroiso City, northern Tochigi Prefecture. It is located in the valley upstream of the Naka River at the southwest foot of Mount Nasu. Simple spring, heated at 37-46°C. Said to have been discovered in the 11th century, it is known as one of the Seven Hot Springs of Nasu. The hot spring is a public bath, and there is a custom of bathing while holding on to a thick rope. A bus runs from Kuroiso Station on the Tohoku Main Line.
