Chosǒn t'ongbo (Chosen Tsuuhou)

A copper coin made in 1423 during the reign of King Sejong of the Joseon Dynasty (Yi Dynasty) was modeled after the Kaiyuan coin of the Tang Dynasty. The government encouraged its circulation, but due to the underdevelopment of the distribution of goods, it was only used by a few.
