Korean Independence League - Chosendokuritsudomei

Japanese: 朝鮮独立同盟 - ちょうせんどくりつどうめい

An anti-Japanese national united front organization of Korean communists that was active in the liberated area of Yan'an, China, during the Pacific War. In 1938, during the Second Sino-Japanese War, Kim Won-bong and others organized the Korean Volunteer Corps in Wuhan to participate in the anti-Japanese war, but after the fall of Wuhan, the communist part of the corps moved to Yan'an, and on the way, they organized the Korean Youth Association in January 1941, which developed into the Korean Independence League in July 1942. Kim Pyo-bong and Choi Chang-ik were its leaders. In July 1941, the military organization under its umbrella was reorganized into the Korean Volunteer Army, and under the leadership of Mu-jeong and Park Hyo-sam, it engaged in anti-Japanese military operations on the North and Central China fronts, and grew in power by accepting Korean soldiers who had escaped from the Japanese army.

太平洋戦争の時期に中国延安の解放区に拠点をおいて活動した朝鮮人共産主義者による抗日民族統一戦線組織。日中戦争下の1938年武漢で，抗日戦に参与すべく金元鳳らが朝鮮義勇隊を組織したが，武漢陥落後その中の共産主義的な部分は延安に移り，移動途上で41年1月組織した朝鮮青年連合会を42年7月朝鮮独立同盟に発展させた。金枓奉（きんとほう），崔昌益（さいしようえき）らが指導者。傘下の軍事組織は41年7月朝鮮義勇軍に再編され，武亭，朴孝三の指導下に華北，華中戦線での対日本軍工作に従事し，日本軍から脱出した朝鮮人兵士を受け入れて勢力を増した。
