This is an anthology of haikai renga (linked verse) from the late Muromachi period. The author is unknown. It was completed in 1499 (Meio 8). It is a 10-volume book consisting of two parts, hokku (open verse) and tsukeai (attached verse), and contains 20 hokku (open verse) and 217 tsukeku (attached verse). There is a preface at the beginning, which explains the intention of collecting haikai renga. There are many verses that are common to the Inu Tsukuba Collection, and it has great historical value as a precursor to the collection. The only surviving copy is held by the Tenri Library. The name appears in haiku books from the early modern period, but it eventually fell out of sight. It was discovered in 1960 (Showa 35) and attracted attention as the first anthology of haikai renga.
