〘 noun 〙 A relationship that arises from the land in which one lives. A social relationship that has land as a middle ground. → Blood ties. ※Fudo (1935) by Tetsuro Watsuji, 3 "The Chinese are people who do not accept any restrictions other than those of blood or geographical ties."
