...Mick Jagger (1943- ), Keith Richards (1943- ), Brian Jones (1942-69), and other young people who liked rhythm and blues came into contact with Alexis Korner, the first guitarist to play blues in England, and in 1962 they formed a group, named after the song "Rolling Stone" by blues singer Muddy Waters. When they started releasing records in 1963, the members were Jagger, Richards, Jones, bassist Bill Wyman (1936- ), and drummer Charlie Watts (1941- ). In 1965 they had a hit with "Satisfaction," and became very popular in the United States as the biggest rival to the Beatles. ...
