〘Noun〙 Buddhist term. ① When performing rituals, a platform is set up in the dojo, such as a three-platform or five-platform, and various deities and gods are enshrined thereon for the ritual. There are three-platform, five-platform, nine-platform, thirteen-platform, and other types. *Sandai Jitsuroku, October 20, 866 (8th year of the Jogan era ) , "There is an _old _woman . A convenient performance is given on _one of _them . _A _joint platform is set up, a tiger _{is placed} on the _flat ground, and _an _old Buddha statue is placed on it." ② A method of decorating the platform when performing rituals. This is the same for both Tomitsu and Taimitsu when performing Dafa, but when performing special practices, in Tomitsu the platform is decorated in the womb and the Vajrayana ritual is performed, but this is different in Taimitsu. *Jisan Hogo (1775), 3 "Among the esoteric Buddhist practices, there are various principal images and various platform methods."
