Also called a tax haven or tax haven. There are many countries around the world that offer tax incentives to companies that enter from overseas, and by using such countries, companies can reduce their tax burden. Tax incentives range from complete exemption to the application of various levels of low tax rates. Representative countries and regions include the Bahamas, Panama, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and Hong Kong. Multinational corporations have become increasingly active in recent years, and multinational corporations are companies that conduct business by establishing subsidiaries in many countries.

税金避難地，租税逃避地ともいう。海外から進出してくる企業に対して税制上の優遇措置を与える国が世界各地に多く存在するが，そのような国を利用することにより，企業は税金の負担額を減らすことが可能となる。租税の優遇措置には，全面的な免税から，いろいろな段階の低税率の適用まで各種ある。その代表的な国，地域としてはバハマ，パナマ，バミューダ諸島，ケイマン諸島，ホンコンなどがある。　最近において多国籍企業の活躍がますます盛んになりつつあるが，多国籍企業とは，多数の国に子会社を設立して事業を行う。
