Izanami no Mikoto

…the name of a god that appears in Japanese mythology. In the Kojiki, they are written as Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto. In the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki myths, these two gods, male and female, carry out almost all of the creative activities under the orders of Amatsukami, and according to the Kojiki and one of the Nihon Shoki, they end up in conflict at the border with Yomi-no-Kuni, with the male god as the god in charge of human life and the female god as the god of the underworld in charge of human death, and they are severed from each other.
