[1] A peak in the Tateyama mountain range in eastern Toyama Prefecture. Together with Oku-Dainichi-dake (2,611 meters) and Mae-Dainichi-dake, it forms the Dainichi Ridge. It is rich in alpine plants, and Japanese serows live on the southern slope. Elevation 2,501 meters. [2] A peak in the Hakusan mountain range in northwestern Gifu Prefecture. It is the source of the Nagara River. Elevation 1,709 meters. Dainichi-ga-take. [3] A peak in the Iide mountain range in northeastern Niigata Prefecture. Elevation 2,128 meters. [4] A peak in the Omine mountain range in southern Nara Prefecture. Elevation 1,593 meters. A training site for Shugendo sect practitioners.
