A type of organophosphate insecticide. Chemical name: 2-methyl-6-isopropyl-4-pyrimidinyldiethyl phosphorothiophate. A colorless liquid with a boiling point of 83-84°C. It is sparingly soluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents. It is used to control various pests of fruit trees and vegetables, as well as sanitary pests such as flies, mosquitoes, and cockroaches. It acts as a contact poison, a food poison, and a gas poison. It has a wide range of uses, including foliage sprays, soil application agents, water surface application agents, and fumigation agents.
