Also called Senba (comb-like). A farm tool with sharp iron, bamboo, or wooden teeth arranged like a comb to thresh rice, wheat, and other grains. Invented during the Genroku period (1688-1704), Kurayoshi in Hoki was a famous producer of iron Senba threshers.
