...This refers to the land that became land during the Upper Pleistocene glacial period near the present Bering Strait. It is closely related to the route and timing of human migration to the New World, so it has attracted attention along with its paleoenvironment, and is also called Beringia. It appeared as a result of a drop in sea level caused by glacier formation, and according to current knowledge, the land bridge existed from about 50,000 years ago to about 35,000 years ago and from about 25,000 years ago to about 10,000 years ago.
