Ehime iris

Ehime iris
A perennial plant of the Iridaceae family that grows in the mountains of Chugoku, Shikoku, Kyushu, and East Asia. The flower stalk is about 10 cm tall and bears a single flower at the top. The leaves grow long after the flowers have finished blooming and are pale green and thin. The flowers are bluish purple and 3.5 to 4 cm in diameter. The inner tepals are slightly smaller and stand upright. It was first known in Ehime Prefecture. It is also known as tareyuesou (someone's grass).
