Japanese: 関寺 - せきでら

[1] A Tendaijimon sect temple located in Osaka, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Founded in 1025. It was part of Gonshoji , one of the five branch temples of Onjoji. There is a cow tower in front of the gate, and it is said that this is where Ono no Komachi built a hermitage in her later years. After it was burned down during the Keicho era ( 1596-1615 ) , it became Choanji (Jishū). Sekiji. *Gosen (around 951-953), miscellaneous 2, 1126, inscription: "I was reclusive in Sekidera Temple in Ahumi." [2] Abbreviation of "Sekidera Komachi (Sekidera Komachi)." *Essay, Daienki (around 1644), Vol. 1, "The Sekidera, Dojoji, and Shojo Rebellions are not worth mentioning ."

[一] 滋賀県大津市逢坂にあった天台寺門宗の寺。万寿二年（一〇二五）創建。園城寺五別所の一つ、近松寺(ごんしょうじ)に属した。門前に牛塔(うしのとう)があり、小野小町が晩年庵(いおり)を結んだ所と伝えられる。慶長年間（一五九六‐一六一五）兵火で焼失後、長安寺（時宗）となる。世喜寺。※後撰（951‐953頃）雑二・一一二六・詞書「あふみの関寺にこもりて侍りけるに」[二] 「せきでらこまち（関寺小町）」の略。※随筆・戴恩記（1644頃）上「関寺・道成寺・猩々(しゃうじゃう)の乱等は、いふに及(およば)ず」
