Myoko Village, Nakakubiki County, Niigata Prefecture (now Myoko City), hot springs on the eastern foot of Mt. Myoko. The hot springs well up on a plateau at an altitude of 900m, sandwiched between the Otagiri River and the Katakai River. The springs contain iron and are saline. 45℃. In the Middle Ages, they were used by ascetics on Mt. Myoko, and in the Edo Period, a bathhouse was built there. The hot springs belong to Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park, and there is a ski resort and a summer resort. There is a bus service from Sekiyama Station on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway.

新潟県中頸城(なかくびき)郡妙高村（現・妙高市），妙高山東麓の温泉。大田切川と片貝川にはさまれた，標高900mの高原にわく。含鉄食塩泉。45℃。中世，妙高山の修験者によって用いられ，江戸時代には湯小屋が建てられた。妙高戸隠連山国立公園に属し，スキー場があり，避暑地でもある。えちごトキめき鉄道関山駅からバスが通じる。
