Ikazaki [town] - Ikazaki
A former town in Kita District, central Ehime Prefecture. Most of the area is mountainous, with the main settlement developing in the basin of a tributary of the Hiji River. It has long been the center of Ozu-hanshi paper production, and now has a machine-made paper factory. The town is famous for its kite battles made from washi paper. In January 2005, it was incorporated into Oda Town and Uchiko Town in Kamiukena District. 38.49 km2 . 6,002 people (2003).
