Yen Bai Uprising - Yen Bai Broom

Japanese: イェンバイ蜂起 - いぇんばいほうき

An armed uprising launched by the Vietnam National Party (established in 1927) in various parts of northern Vietnam in February 1930. It began with party members rising up at the Yen Bai barracks in the middle of the night on February 9th, followed by an attack on the Hung Hoa barracks from outside on the night of the 10th, bombing attacks in Hanoi, and volunteer uprisings in Hai Duong and Thai Binh provinces on the 15th, but the uprisings remained sporadic and were quickly put down by the French Indochina authorities. Party leader Nguyen Thai Hoc was sentenced along with 12 of his comrades at the Yen Bai Provisional Tribunal and executed in June.

ベトナム国民党(1927設立)が1930年2月北部ベトナム各地で起こした武装蜂起。2月9日夜半にイェンバイYen Baiの兵営で党員兵士が決起したのを皮切りに，10日夜には外部からのフンホア兵営への攻撃，ハノイでの投弾活動，15日にはハイズオン，タイビン両省での義勇軍の蜂起が行われたが，散発的なままに終わり，仏領インドシナ当局により速やかに鎮圧された。党首グエン･タイ･ホクは同志12人と共にイェンバイ臨時法廷で判決を受け，6月に処刑された。
