A parasitic worm of the family Ancylostoma. Body length is 1-1.5 cm. The larvae live underground and enter the human body through the skin or mouth. They parasitize the small intestine, sucking blood and causing anemia and weakness. It was discovered by the Italian A. Dubini. A duodenal worm.
